On November 1, 2026, at Petit Bain in Paris, Messa will unfold their doom metal with shifting contours. Based in Cittadella in northern Italy, the band brings together the clear, inhabited voice of Sara Bianchin, Alberto Piccolo on guitar, Mark Sade on bass and Rocco Toaldo on drums. Their signature blends heavy riffs, ambient layers and jazz colours, with psychedelic slides and improvised forays that stretch forms without losing the melody.

On stage, Messa works with contrast and dynamics: slow rises, tempo breaks, and pared‑down passages that let the voice breathe before plunging back into denser sections. The songs draw on Belfry, Feast for Water and Close—three milestones that have sharpened their songwriting and broadened the group’s sonic range. The live experience is like a journey, where atmospheric drones, repetitive motifs and more abrasive bursts intertwine. It’s a concept designed for the venue, playing with space, volume and silence, and allowing what makes up Messa’s DNA to surface: a sense of musical storytelling that advances through tension and release.
