Love of Lesbian

On August 29, 2026, at the Starlite Festival - Auditorio Marbella, Love of Lesbian took the stage with a live show in which the song takes precedence. With Santi Balmes at the helm, the Barcelona group left English behind to write in Spanish and hone a sound that crosses pop rock, indie, psychedelic echoes and electronic layers. Live, that mixture translates into shifts in intensity, choruses front and center and carefully crafted arrangements, with voice and lyrics as the guide.

The repertoire spans several phases: from Maniobras de escapismo and 1999 to El poeta Halley and V.E.H.N., a thread that links first-person narratives, wry, sideways humor and a restrained melancholy. The band builds moods patiently, alternating driving passages with more intimate ones, and leaves room for the melodies to breathe. A concert to be drawn in by the lyrics and stay for the ensemble’s dynamics—unaffected, supported by solid structures and choruses that connect.
