Wolfi Jeudi : Anne Pacéo

On 18 June 2026 at Fort Kléber in Wolfisheim, drummer and composer Anne Paceo presents Atlantis, her new project. Imagined after an introductory dive in Portugal, this repertoire explores weightlessness, the stretching of time and a feeling of total immersion. Between jazz, folk and electronic music, she weaves mobile lines, works with cycles, voice and textures that range from a subtle pulse to a suspended moment. On drums, her supple playing steers the tempo and blends with electronics, all in service of an ensemble sound conceived for the stage.

Atlantis continues a path opened from Triphase to S.H.A.M.A.N.E.S., with heightened attention to atmospheres and collective composition. Influences surface without imposing themselves, from Björk to Bon Iver, and even the imagery of Wong Kar‑Wai, resulting in music that favors depth and listening. Live, Anne Paceo channels energy in layers, brings in vocals, thickens then lightens textures—like being underwater. A new step for a singular voice on today’s jazz scene.
