Nino Arial cites a simple source of inspiration: the audience. In Pas comme eux, he mixes stand-up and improvisation, draws on stories from the room and builds on the interactions to shape a show that never quite repeats itself. Born on the web, where his videos gathered a loyal following, he developed his comedic voice through direct contact with people, far from TV studios. On stage, he recounts his path—from the benches of a business school to open-mic nights—tackles everyday life, memories of school bullying, work, and family, and invites everyone to see themselves without resorting to caricature.
