David Walters

On 22 July 2026 at La Sirène, La Rochelle, three artists from the Heavenly Sweetness family share the bill. Headlining is David Walters, a Franco–Caribbean musician, who unfolds his contemporary Creole vision. On stage as a trio, he forges a clear link between Caribbean traditions and electronic music, blending tropical soul, afrobeat, kompa and touches of hip-hop. An organic, rhythmic sound conceived for live performance, it sits between sunlit melodies and club pulses.

Flutist Ludivine Issambourg opens the evening in an intimate lineup with two heavyweight collaborators: pianist Éric Legnini and singer‑keyboardist Brian Jackson. Their flute–piano–keys dialogue shifts the set between modern jazz and soulful groove, with crisp melodic lines and supple beats. A pared-down format that highlights sound and interplay.

Finally, K.O.G, aka Ghanaian singer‑percussionist Kweku Sackey, offers a live sound‑system and video show tailored for the stage. Moving through afrobeat, highlife, soul, jazz, hip‑hop and reggae, he strings together vocals, percussion and electronic textures in a widescreen mix designed to carry the audience through to the finale.
