On April 11, 2026, at the Metronum in Toulouse, Mélissa Laveaux takes the stage with a personal brand of folk and songs drawn from her life. Born in Canada and based in France since 2008, she first came to prominence with Camphor and Copper, her debut album released on No Format!, followed by Dying Is a Wild Night in 2013. There she explores intimate themes—family above all—but also departures and returns that trace a path.
In concert, Laveaux cultivates intimacy and lets her compositions expand as the set unfolds. In Toulouse she will perform the tracks that have punctuated her records and share those unvarnished stories that form the heart of her songwriting. An evening focused on the lyrics and the gentle tension of her folk, to rediscover the living substance of her repertoire in the live setting.
