Anthony Kavanagh will be in Lyon to workshop his new show on 17 September 2026 at Espace Gerson. On stage, the Québécois comedian returns to familiar ground: direct stand-up, driven by improvisation and a few musical digressions. Between cultural differences, relationships, everyday life and a connected society, he tests ideas, adjusts his angles and searches for the right punchline. The run-through is an open workshop: raw versions, jokes being sharpened, unexpected moments and spontaneous exchanges with the audience. Kavanagh moves between accents, impressions and storytelling, shifting from laughter to confidences to bring out the material for his next show. An evening without artifice, centered on the writing and the pacing, where you can watch the show take shape step by step.
