Goldmen - Concert Best of Goldman

Les Goldmen, a tribute group made up of seven musicians, bring Jean-Jacques Goldman’s repertoire and that of the Fredericks Goldman Jones trio back to the stage. Driven by the voice of Alain Stevez, whose timbre and diction evoke the original, and by Sabrina Belmo, who faithfully takes on Carole Fredericks’s parts, the live show presents a clear, effective Best Of: Quand la musique est bonne, Je te donne, Né en 17 à Leidenstadt, À nos actes manqués and other songs that have stood the test of time. The arrangements respect the original keys and era, while leaving room for a contemporary group energy—guitars up front, precise backing vocals and a solid rhythm section.

Recognised by close collaborators of Goldman, the project is committed to recreating the songwriting, melodies and groove that shaped this catalogue. The aim: to recapture the poetry of the lyrics and the momentum of the choruses without betraying the spirit of the original versions.
