Girls in Hawaïfi

On 26 November 2026 at the Rockstore in Montpellier, Girls in Hawaii return to the stage with Eldorado, their first studio album since Nocturne (2017). Formed in the early 2000s, the Belgian band has honed an indie rock sound built on clear guitars, muted keyboards and supple rhythms, carried by the vocals of Antoine Wielemans and Lionel Vancauwenberghe. On this tour they open a new chapter without abandoning the melodic thread that runs through tracks like From Here to There, Plan Your Escape or Everest, while moving further toward more atmospheric and electronic textures. Eldorado continues in that vein, with songs crafted for live performance that alternate pop momentum and contemplative pauses. On stage, Girls in Hawaii navigate between gentle tension and slow build-ups, working contrasts and tending to dynamics and vocal harmony. After celebrating the twentieth anniversary of their debut album in 2023, the band here rediscovers a sensitive, direct approach to songwriting, conceived for clubs and intimate venues. This concert emphasizes the new material without forgetting the songs that shaped their identity.
