Feldup

On 18 February 2027 at Le Liberté in Rennes, Feldup took the stage with The Showerheads. The taut set, positioned between rock and electronic music, spanned his first two albums and unveiled tracks from the new record. In a full-band lineup, his songs rely on grainy guitars, dark synths, deep bass and restrained rhythms, supported by a carefully crafted vocal performance that remains front and center. The focus is on introspective atmospheres and contrasts, with precise songwriting that privileges texture and abrupt shifts.

First revealed at a very young age with A Thousand Doors, Just One Key (2020), Feldup followed up with Stared at from the Distance (2023), refining a language where chamber pop, alternative rock and electronic music intersect. Initially discovered online, he brought the project to the stage, where his compositions acquire a collective dimension. With The Showerheads he extends this live aspect and offers a sharper interpretation of his material, alternating chiaroscuro melodies and a smouldering tension. It was an opportunity to enter the heart of his world and perceive its new directions.
