Randall King

Texas-born Randall King brings his honky-tonk and neo-traditional country to AB&B - Amager Bio in Copenhagen on May 6, 2026. Raised on the wide-open plains, he writes songs about barrooms, long drives and rural life. He first found attention with the EP Another Bullet in 2016, laying out a lean, story-driven approach. His self-titled album in 2018 confirmed the path: a mix of driving tracks and slow ballads, a direct voice, pedal steel up front and clean guitars that nod to 80s and 90s country.

Installed on the Texas circuit and then in Nashville, King has stacked up gigs across clubs and festivals, shaping a focused live sound. With Shot Glass in 2022, he kept the traditional core while folding in some contemporary touches, sharpening the writing without losing the twang. On stage in Copenhagen, he moves between two-step grooves, road songs and late-night waltzes, carried by pedal steel and clear guitars. A set anchored in stories and melody, true to the classic American country line he’s been tracing since his early days.
