On 10 May 2026, Musik i Teltet on Skovalleen in Odense welcomes three Danish songwriters: Rikke Thomsen, Signe Svendsen and Mathilde Falch. Rooted in South Jutland, Rikke Thomsen writes in the Sønderjysk dialect, often mixing it with standard Danish. Her songs move between acoustic folk, North American country touches and melodic pop. Since the 2019 EP Omve’n hjemve, she has been shaping stories of home, departure and return, rural rhythms and everyday scenes, performed solo with guitar or with a small band, with simple forms and a spoken pulse that keeps the words upfront.
Signe Svendsen has been active since the early 2000s. First noticed as a backing singer with the pop project Rollo & King, including Eurovision 2001, she has built a solo path focused on Danish lyrics. Her repertoire blends pop, folk and chanson with mostly acoustic arrangements and direct melodies. Albums like Ny passager (2010), Kun de faldne rejser sig (2013), the live set Unpolished (2016) and Det forsvinder igen (2019) underline a narrative approach that works in intimate rooms as well as with a fuller band.
Completing the bill, Mathilde Falch joins this Odense date to share her songs alongside Thomsen and Svendsen.
