The Fray - Autumn Light Tour

With the Autumn Light Tour, The Fray will come to the Tempodrom in Berlin on October 28, 2026. The Denver-based band has moved between alternative rock and pop since the early 2000s, with the piano as an anchor, clear guitars and harmonious vocals. Live, this alternates between quiet, sustained passages and open, expansive choruses, with lyrics that address relationships and faith without excessive pathos.

Since How to Save a Life (2005), “Over My Head (Cable Car)” and the title track have been fixtures of their set. The subsequent albums The Fray (2009), Scars & Stories (2012) and Helios (2014) added more pop hues and atmospheric layers to their sound without losing focus on melody and song structure. On stage the band extends this line, from intimate piano motifs to more broadly arranged pieces.

After a quieter phase, The Fray returns with a concentrated, song-oriented show. The Autumn Light Tour places the emphasis on their songwriting, their harmonies and the interplay of piano, guitar and voice — direct, close to the songs, without unnecessary frills.
