Info

On April 25, 2026, at La Dame de Canton in Paris’s 13th arrondissement, Margaux Simone and Stéphanie Acquette share the stage.

Lulled by the South, real or imagined, Margaux Simone’s new album traces a sensitive route between the meaning of things and the passage of time. Her warm voice, set against guitars sometimes tinged with a western flavour, sketches an intimate map where Françoise Hardy and Stevie Nicks cross paths, with a faint trace of Lana Del Rey. Precise, poetic, tender words: she revives a golden age in the present and christens this pop territory the ‘Provençal California,’ a place familiar yet distinctly her own.

With Mes Sœurs, Stéphanie Acquette takes a counterpoint to her first album: darker, sparer, more urgent. On the edge of twilight, her songs probe desire, escape and ways of being in the world. The voice opens up there, sometimes near spoken word, supported by arrangements finely crafted by Fred Pallem—like a Marie Laforêt who has passed through East Berlin. A singer‑songwriter, she intersects French chanson and contemporary poetry. On stage, accompanied by Simon Valmort on drums, she delivers the tracks from the EP Mes Sœurs (Frémeaux & Associés) in a tightened format, as close as possible to the voice and the text.
