Info
New York’s crossover roots land in Luxembourg: on August 2, 2026, Biohazard and Sworn Enemy hit Den Atelier for a straight-up dose of hardcore and metal drawn from both sides of the East River. Two bands, one city, and a shared taste for high-impact riffs and chant-along parts.
Born in late-80s Brooklyn, Biohazard forged a hybrid that stitched hardcore punk to thrash muscle and hip-hop cadences. On stage, that mix turns into tight, heavy grooves, switch-ups between barked lines and rap-inflected flows, and breaks that keep the pit moving. Expect a set that digs into Urban Discipline and State of the World Address, with the band’s street-level themes and thick guitar tone holding the line from start to finish.
Formed in Queens in 1997, Sworn Enemy comes in with a leaner, more thrash-leaning metalcore edge. Driven by Sal Lococo’s gritty vocals, the group fires off fast riffs, stop-start rhythms and heavier mid-tempo sections built for head-down momentum. Tracks from As Real as It Gets through Gamechanger map their shift from NYHC roots toward sharper, palm-muted attack—perfect counterpoint and complement to Biohazard’s groove-heavy punch.
