On April 3, 2026, HLD takes over Le Lieu Chéri in Bordeaux. Based in Clamart in the Hauts-de-Seine, he first made a name for himself under the moniker H La Drogue before shortening his stage name. Spotted in the early 2020s with the SEKLENLAND freestyle series, he laid the foundations of a universe drawn from neighborhood life, parallel circuits and the ties that structure daily life in the housing estates. His street rap leans toward trap and drill, with a tight flow, a deep, grounded voice and stripped-down productions where a few melodic motifs leave room for the story, without unnecessary effects.

On stage, HLD goes straight to the point. He favors effective lyrics, the punch of the beats and a no-frills performance. Close to the new wave from the '92 (Hauts-de-Seine), in a scene alongside rappers such as SDM or 1PLIKÉ 140, he cultivates concrete detail and a photographic portrayal of reality.
