Info

Waly Dia takes the mic again at the Théâtre de la Madeleine in Paris on June 5, 2026. “Give me an hour, I’ll take care of the rest” sets the tone: one hour of direct stand-up, conceived for our times. Having come through On n’demande qu’à en rire and then the Jamel Comedy Club, the comedian has honed a craft of speech and observation that goes straight to the point, moving between everyday scenes and societal questions.

On stage, he probes current events, the contradictions that run through us, and the way we speak and talk to ourselves, in order to bring out clear angles and images that linger. His writing favors the concrete, the detail that shifts perspective rather than the lesson, with a sense of rhythm that links ideas without losing the audience along the way. Between TV sets, radio and film, he has built a viewpoint nourished by real life, which he puts to the test in front of a live audience.

Nominated for the Molières for comedy for his latest show, Waly Dia returns here to the essentials: a mic, an hour, and the desire to explore with the audience what brings us together as much as what provokes us. See you at the Théâtre de la Madeleine on June 5, 2026.
