Les Négresses Vertes

On October 14, 2026 at La Maroquinerie (Paris), Les Négresses Vertes return to the stage with their Zobi-Tour. Born in Paris in 1987 within the punk movement, the band shaped a sound of its own, between acoustic rock, realist chanson, and Mediterranean influences. Their first album, Mlah (1988), carried them beyond national borders, driven by tracks that became touchstones such as "Zobi la mouche" and "Voilà l'été." In the 1990s they toured intensively before going on hiatus in 2001.

Reunited since 2018, Les Négresses Vertes have taken to the road again for a long series of concerts, reconnecting with a loyal audience eager for their collective energy. In 2026 they set course for Europe, stopping at La Maroquinerie for a set that draws on their entire repertoire, from their beginnings to the songs that punctuated the following decade. The show features their blend of spirited rhythms, popular melodies, and street-level lyrics — that direct writing that became their signature. An evening to listen, sing, and dive back into a musical story that continues to be written on stage.
