Info

On 17 May 2026, EMMON will take the stage live at Urban Spree in Berlin: the solo project of Emma Nylén, a fixture between EBM, electro and synth. For more than two decades she has honed a sound built on a hard machine pulse and clear melodies. Following the album RECON (2022) and the EP XCEPTION (2024) — including a Terence Fixmer remix of “Machines” and the single “Speak to Me” — EMMON brings new material. RECON was, among other honors, named Synth Release of the Year at the Manifest Gala 2023 and Electro of the Year at the GAFFA Awards. Live, she condenses icy sequences, striking basslines and catchy hooks into a set that unites the past and present of her project.

A Solemn Promise from Berlin, the duo Jonathan Baker and Benedikta Ársælsdóttir, presents an industrial/neoclassical approach that pits intimacy against distance. On their EP feathers they explore states of isolation and togetherness. Delicate piano and string timbres meet rough textures, distorted rhythms and voices that conjure rather than narrate. On stage this yields a soundscape that remains vulnerable yet shows an edge — a blend that swings between contemplative passages and forceful outbursts.
