On 16 April 2026 at Petit Bain in Paris, Casey returned to the stage after a hiatus marked by a split in 2019. The Welsh band came back with new material that prolongs their dark, sensitive streak. Great Grief and the single "Atone" encapsulate this trajectory well: a post-hardcore intensity open to melodic flashes, distorted guitars and breathing spaces that leave room for emotionally raw lyrics. Live, Casey seeks a balance between roughness and delicacy, adding depth to intimate themes without losing the tension that sustains them.
Also on the bill, British band Lastelle deployed an atmospheric post-hardcore full of swells and lulls, where melodic guitars interlock with vocals that oscillate between fragility and tension. From Harrow and Delicate to Exist vol. i (2024), the quintet has honed a songwriting voice that addresses neurodivergence, grief and inner unease. On stage, their airy transitions intersect with heavier sections, creating a sonic dialogue that echoes the evening’s emotional charge.
