Info
New York project Fcukers hits The Opera House in Toronto on April 18, 2026. Formed in 2022 by singer Shanny Wise (ex-The Shacks) and bassist/producer Jackson Walker Lewis (ex-Spud Cannon), the duo bends house and club frameworks into bass-led songs with the presence of a live band, originally alongside drummer Ben Scharf. After early experiments and a first show at Baby’s All Right, they released the debut single Mothers in 2023. The EP Baggy$$ followed in 2024 on Technicolour, the Ninja Tune sublabel, with tracks Bon Bon, Homie Don’t Shake and Tommy.
Since then, Fcukers have delivered remixes for Lol Tolhurst, Budgie and Jacknife Lee with James Murphy, as well as for Porij, and have taken their set to international stages, including Rencontres Trans Musicales. In 2025, they opened Tame Impala’s Deadbeat Tour while shaping their first album, Ö, announced for 2026 on Ninja Tune. On stage, Fcukers push weighty low end, tight drums and Wise’s close-up vocals, switching between song forms and rolling grooves. This date catches them at the start of the album era, with a set that weaves new material and Baggy$$ standouts.
