A rapper and DJ, Yanka develops French-language rap infused with electro, where direct, often feminist lyrics meet productions built for the night. Punk references, club culture and an urban aesthetic intersect bluntly: shouted slogans, spoken choruses, minimal melodies, and a back-and-forth between cutting energy and more introspective passages. Her world, informed by the street, photography and graffiti, zeroes in on everyday details and nocturnal imaginaries, somewhere between deliberate provocation and intimacy.
Alongside Yanka, Sika Deva and Anan share the stage and their own shades, while Mars88 and valoo man the decks to link everything together in DJ sets. A proposition that moves between mic and booth, rap and club, in the heart of the 11th arrondissement.
