Clean Pete's Kerstshow

Clean Pete will present a set of Dutch-language songs and two-part singing with Clean Pete’s Christmas Show on 10 December 2026 at TR25 Schouwburg - Theater Rotterdam. The duo from Nijmegen, twin sisters Loes and Renée Wijnhoven, have been writing narrative songs since the early 2010s that sit close to everyday life: relationships, small urban observations and recognizable scenes. Their sound is spare and precise, built on guitar and cello, with their voices weaving tightly around one another.

Over the years singles, EPs and albums have appeared, and the sisters have regularly sought out like-minded peers from the Dutch pop and folk scene. The Dutch language has always remained central — for the rhythm of the lines and the direct tone. In this Christmas show that idiom acquires a seasonal layer: original material in a wintry context, leaving space for melody, harmonies and lyrics that remain close to the story. No effects or fanfare, but careful attention to timing, phrasing and the interplay that sustains their songs.
