On 10 August 2026 Municipal Waste will play Dynamo in Eindhoven with a set that brings their crossover-thrash back to its core. Since 2001 Tony Foresta, Ryan Waste, LandPhil Hall and Dave Witte have been shaping their mix of ’80s thrash and hardcore punk into short, fierce tracks, full of snappy riffs, gang shouts and a fondness for black humour, disaster scenarios and B-movie imagery. Live the band switches quickly and tightly, from Waste ’Em All and Hazardous Mutation to The Art of Partying and onward, up to Electrified Brain. The tempo stays high, the hooks are direct and the transitions compact: material that immediately wakes the crowd, without frills.
Joining them from Antwerp is Schizophrenia, death/thrash with an old-school bent and plenty of drive. On Voices (2020) and Recollections of the Insane (2022) the band presents a sound that balances straightforward thrash with darker arcs of tension, featuring sharp guitar lines, aggressive vocals and tight rhythms. On stage it’s about intensity and focus: high speeds, brief tension buildups, then heavier passages that create breathing space. An opener that sets the tone before Municipal Waste opens the throttle even further.
