Alter Bridge

On 9 June 2026, Alter Bridge will play at SPOT/De Oosterpoort in Groningen. The Orlando quartet formed in the mid-2000s around singer Myles Kennedy (The Mayfield Four) and former Creed members Mark Tremonti (guitar), Brian Marshall (bass) and Scott Phillips (drums). Their sound moves between hard rock, alternative metal and post-grunge: heavy riffs, melodic vocals that take center stage, and long, elaborated guitar passages, with songs that often build up in layers. Live, the band alternates compact hooks with more expansive instrumental sections, driven by a tight rhythm section. Their studio output includes albums such as One Day Remains, Blackbird, AB III, Fortress, The Last Hero, Walk the Sky and Pawns & Kings, on which the band shifted toward darker atmospheres and more complex compositions without abandoning their accessible rock framework. After years of touring and festival appearances, Alter Bridge has built a loyal audience in the UK and across Europe.
