Info
Louane will come to the Melkweg in Amsterdam on 2 May 2026. The French singer, born Anne Peichert in 1996, moves between francophone pop and a more intimate chanson atmosphere. She rose to fame in 2013 via The Voice (France, season 2) and subsequently entered film with Éric Lartigau’s La Famille Bélier. That dual course — music and acting — helped raise her profile further.
Since her debut album Chambre 12 (2015), Louane has been building a repertoire of direct lyrics and accessible melodies. On the eponymous Louane (2017) the production shifted toward electronic elements, while themes such as family, adolescence and relationships remain central. Joie de vivre (2020) adds urban influences and tighter rhythms; Sentiments (2022) is rendered more minimalist and introspective.
Live, Louane focuses on the voice, French punchlines and choruses that linger. Her set navigates between gentle ballads and pop numbers with electronic accents. She sings in French, but her stories stay close: growth, love, breakups, the dynamics of home. In Amsterdam she will present a selection from across her albums, leaving room for newer strands of her sound and that familiar mix of vulnerability and clarity. On 2 May at the Melkweg that palette will be central — without frills, with the songs in the foreground.
