Airbourne

On 6 March 2026 Airbourne will perform at SPOT/De Oosterpoort in Groningen. The Australian hard-rock band led by singer-guitarist Joel O’Keeffe is rooted in record collections full of AC/DC: fierce riffs, boogie grooves and choruses that hit immediately. Joel and his brother Ryan started playing together at a young age—first in garages and pubs, then on bigger stages, even opening for The Rolling Stones. With guitarist David Roads and bassist Justin Street the band took its first steps with Ready to Rock; a move to the US followed, and Running Wild (Roadrunner Records, 2007) opened the door to a world tour. A third album recorded in an old hotel came next, followed in 2013 by Black Dog Barking—records that have since formed the backbone of their shows.

Live, Airbourne follows that line closely: compact hooks, twin guitars, driving tempo and singalong choruses that stick in your head. Expect a set that swings from the early Ready to Rock days through Running Wild and Black Dog Barking—no frills and full of energy. An evening of hard rock, intense and direct.
