On 5 May 2026, Peter Bjorn & John bring their sleek indie-pop craft to the Lido in Berlin. The Stockholm trio—Peter Morén, Björn Yttling and John Eriksson—have, since the late 1990s, built their sound on crisp guitars, distinctive bass lines and choruses that work in multiple voices. With Writer’s Block (2006) and the whistling hit “Young Folks,” recorded with Victoria Bergsman, they opened up to a wide audience; since then they have explored different shades: more instrumental sketches (Seaside Rock), edgier electronics (Living Thing), more direct hooks (Gimme Some), and the more refined pop approaches of Breakin’ Point, Darker Days and Endless Dream.

On stage, Peter Bjorn & John condense this range into driving, precise songs: minimal grooves, percussive details, layered harmonies and melodies that carry without much pomp. Expect a set that weaves together familiar pieces and newer tracks, allows room for dynamic shifts, and shows how the trio constantly varies its sound—focused, melodic and pared down to the essentials.
