Leo Middea

On October 4, 2026 at L’Alhambra in Paris, Leo Middea, a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Rio and based in Barcelona, delivered a live set where MPB meets samba and bossa nova, nourished by influences gathered on the road. Over a decade, more than 400 concerts across some twenty countries have honed his craft: lucid songwriting, flexible harmonies and a Carioca swing running in the background.

Five albums to his name and a new chapter with Notícias de Puglia, which looks at Brazil from different shores. On stage, guitar to the fore, a clear voice and light-footed melodies connect Brazilian heritage with contemporary curiosity. Between lilting rhythms and ballads, he lines up songs conceived for sharing, drawing as much from his recent tracks as from his signature pieces. At L’Alhambra, audiences come to hear him make his travels and roots converse through song, turning the room into a smooth dance floor without overdoing it.
