On 30 November 2026, the Gipsy Kings by André Reyes will take the stage at ZOOM Frankfurt. Under the leadership of singer and guitarist André Reyes, the ensemble builds on the legacy of the Reyes and Baliardo families: rumba flamenca sung in Spanish, driven by pulsating acoustic guitars, dense vocal harmonies and propulsive rhythmic patterns. The set blends the band’s well-known classics — from Bamboléo to Djobi Djoba — with new songs written by André Reyes that expand the sound while remaining true to its roots.

Emerging from the Gitano communities around Arles and Montpellier, the Gipsy Kings have, since the late 1970s, shaped a hybrid aesthetic combining Andalusian heritage, Catalan rumba and pop. That signature remains the guiding thread in their live performances: guitars at the forefront, tightly arranged voices, percussive accents and melodies that catch fire instantly. In Frankfurt, this DNA meets a contemporary setup and fresh compositions by André Reyes — an opportunity to experience the band’s distinctive hits in a new light and, at the same time, hear where the band’s journey is heading today.
