On April 21, 2027, Dany Boon will take the Arena du Pays d’Aix in Aix-en-Provence with Clown n’est pas un métier, a new one-man show true to his eye for observation, his seemingly naive manner and his artful sense of incongruity. A comedian rooted in everyday life, he blends stand-up, anecdotes and sharply sketched characters, sometimes slipping in the Northern accent that shaped his signature. On stage he alternates confidences, self-mockery and situations drawn from real life, keeping a simple, direct pace. After very active years in cinema, he returns to the essentials: a stage, a microphone and the pleasure of storytelling.
