Raised in rural North Carolina on church choir and gospel, he started out recording at home, shaping a voice that blends southern trap with a pop sensibility and the DIY codes of the online rap underground. His first uploads leaned toward singing before he folded in rap, taught himself production and began recording friends, working with a measured use of autotune and lyrics marked by small‑town isolation and shifting emotions.

After a run of singles, he set the tone with the EP Screens in 2023, then with No Service in 2024, largely made in his family basement after a first distribution deal with Broke Records.
