Arnaud Tsamere « Tous contraints »

Arnaud Tsamere returns to the solo stage with Tous contraints. On November 25, 2027, at the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès in Strasbourg, he unfolds a homegrown fiction: a contract he once signed with Jérémy Ferrari forces him back on stage for a new show—or else he faces a penalty of €27.2 million. From that premise he constructs a tale in which wilful bad faith flirts with the absurd, stringing together digressions, abrupt breaks and asides to the audience. Co‑written with François Rollin, the text blends finely honed writing, improvisation and a taste for the offbeat.

The performer—trained in improv and known from Le Grand Journal, Hero Corp and Very Bad Blagues—returns to the stage. After Après 2 mariages et un enterrement and a detour through Cyrano de Bergerac, Tsamere plays on his image as a man out of his depth who negotiates his obligations, his doubts and his urge to take off. Supporting characters, contractual paperwork, procedural defects: everything becomes material for play and a pretext for sliding from one register to another, between stubborn logic and nonsense.
