Info

Beauty School Dropout brings Where Did All The Butterflies Go? to The Garrison in Toronto on February 27, 2026. The Los Angeles trio — Cole Hutzler, Brent Burdett and Bardo — pushes a guitar-driven mix that sits between pop-punk, emo and alt-pop, built on melodic hooks, dynamic shifts and a rhythm section that isn’t afraid to flirt with hip-hop patterns. Emerging from the early 2020s California scene and backed by Verswire, a venture linked to Mark Hoppus, the band has found its place in the pop-punk revival while keeping a pop sensibility at the core.

On stage, they line up tight hooks, rough-edged riffs and vocals that shift from confessional to anthemic without losing clarity. The set leans on their two records, We Made Plans & God Laughed (2022) and Ready To Eat (2023), where stories of relationships, nights out and identities in motion meet direct choruses. Beauty School Dropout treats the club like a lab: guitars out front, beats snapping underneath, and contrasts that keep the room moving.
