Véronic DiCaire

Véronic DiCaire returns with a new solo musical show on April 3, 2027, at the Théâtre du Casino in Gatineau. Awarded a Félix for Show of the Year at ADISQ for her previous production, she now presents a format that places emotion front and center, without abandoning the humour or the impersonations that made her renowned. A vocal chameleon, she shifts through timbres and revisits iconic hits from both francophone and anglophone repertoires, playing on nuance and on a close connection with the audience.

On the programme: great voices, familiar choruses, playful nods, and that way of embodying each character without losing her own distinctive tone. The impersonations remain very much present, but open up to a more personal interpretation that lets her path as a singer as well as a mimic come through. Audiences come for the transitions from one world to another, for the precision of her phrasing, and for the sensation of hearing these songs anew—filtered through her ear and her experience. A return refocused on the essentials: singing, transforming, telling stories.
