Lee Brice, raised in Sumter, South Carolina, first broke through in Nashville as a songwriter before stepping up front as a performer. His albums run from Love Like Crazy (2010) and Hard 2 Love (2012) to I Don’t Dance (2014), a self-titled record (2017) and Hey World (2020). On stage he moves between steady mid-tempo tracks and voice-led ballads rooted in everyday stories, relationships and a Southern backdrop, with acoustic guitars, a rock edge and mainstream country arrangements. He continues to write for others, with cuts by Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw and Eli Young Band, a thread that also shapes his own material.
Alongside him, Alberta-born Brett Kissel brings a Canadian take on contemporary country that blends tradition, pop and light rock. Raised on a ranch, he writes about family ties, rural life and the landscapes of the West. Since Started with a Song (2013), he’s followed with Pick Me Up (2015), We Were That Song (2017), Now or Never (2020) and What Is Life? (2021). His sets mix acoustic ballads and more up-tempo numbers built for the stage, bridging Nashville polish with a prairie sensibility.
