Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Sidestage, 700 Osborne Street, Winnipeg, Canada, The Witches of Dystopia Tour MMXXVI brings together UADA, Mortiis, Rome and Wraith Knight for a journey through black metal, neofolk and industrial currents.
UADA pushes its melodic black metal to the forefront by playing Devoid of Light in full, with razor-edged riffs, atmospheric breaks and a hypnotic, masked presence. Jake Superchi also revisits his roots with a 30-year anniversary Ceremonial Castings set, joined by Wraith Knight.
Mortiis focuses on songs from The Smell of Rain, the phase where his project shifted from dungeon synth toward industrial-leaning darkwave. Structured vocals, electronics and a darker rock pulse anchor this chapter of his catalogue.
Rome, mené par Jérôme Reuter, tisse un mélange de dark folk, néofolk et textures post-industrielles. Guitares acoustiques sombres, accents martiaux et un chant proche du spoken word dessinent des récits nourris d’histoire et de littérature.
Wraith Knight, projet dungeon synth de Nick Superchi, convoque des atmosphères médiévales et cinématiques, et rejoint UADA pour célébrer l’héritage de Ceremonial Castings au cœur de cette soirée.
