Inner Wave - North America Tour

On May 24, 2026 at Fortune Sound Club in Vancouver, Inner Wave bring a set that threads indie rock, psych pop and synth-led textures. Born in Inglewood in the early 2010s around Pablo Sotelo, Elijah Trujillo and Jean Pierre Narvaez, later joined by Luis Portillo and Jose Cruz, the band has shifted from garage-leaning riffs to more electronic, atmospheric constructions built on supple grooves, reverb-soaked guitars and melodic keyboards. Underwater Pipe Dreams (2017) revealed a lo-fi, slow-blooming side; Apoptosis (2021) tightened the writing and leaned into clearer pop structures. On stage, that palette opens up: songs stretch and breathe without losing their pulse, harmonies coil over drum-and-bass patterns, and synths carry the hooks while leaving space for the guitars. A club-scale set shaped by dynamics, layers and the collective interplay that runs through their records.
