Tom Jones is coming to the Lanxess Arena in Cologne on 14 July 2026 with "Come Gather Round 2026." The singer from Wales has blended pop, soul and rhythm-and-blues since the 1960s; he broke through in 1965 with "It’s Not Unusual," followed by songs like "What’s New Pussycat?" and "Delilah." Live, his direct, warm voice is the focal point, supported by a band that moves between elegant pop textures and more earthy tones. In recent years he has streamlined his repertoire: recordings such as Praise & Blame, Spirit in the Room, Long Lost Suitcase and Surrounded by Time open the door to gospel, blues and folk. The concert ranges from early hits to the pared-down newer work, from his own songs to selected covers, presented in current arrangements. The emphasis is on voice, timing and groove; the band provides accents without overshadowing the essence of the songs. Six decades of material, concentrated into one evening.
