Peter McPoland brings his blend of indie pop, alternative rock and folk-tinged ballads to Berlin. On March 31, 2026 at the Frannz Club, the US singer-songwriter will demonstrate how clear melodies, narrative lyrics and a distinctive voice come together in songs that oscillate between delicate guitar figures and more driving sections. On stage he presents this in a band format, keeping the focus on vocals and storytelling.

Under the motto "Change the scenery, never the sound. Pack your bags." McPoland combines new and older material: the album Piggy (2023) and the EP Slow Down (2022) sit alongside earlier songs like "Romeo & Juliet." Lyrically, the songs revolve around youth, family and vulnerability; musically, intimate ballads alternate with more energetic moments. The evening draws a line through his body of work and reveals the narrative side of his songs — with accessible choruses, airy arrangements and subtle arcs of tension that are newly emphasized in the live performance.
