Frei.Wild: Immer unter Feuer

Frei.Wild bring their "Immer unter Feuer" tour to the Festhalle in Frankfurt am Main on May 10, 2026. Founded in 2001 in Brixen (South Tyrol), the band operates in the tension between melodic hard rock, a rough punk edge, and choruses that are gladly sung back in unison at live shows. On stage are Philipp Burger (vocals, guitar), Jonas Notdurfter (guitar), Jochen Gargitter (bass) and Christian Fohrer (drums) – a well-rehearsed quartet that moves between hard-driven riffs and quieter passages without losing focus on melody and directness.

The set pairs new songs from the "Immer unter Feuer" era with tracks from different chapters of the band’s history: "Enemies of Your Enemies," the acoustic "Still," "Opposition," "Rivals and Rebels," "Still II," and "Loss of Reality." Lyrically, the songs revolve around origins, everyday life, friendship, and social tensions—topics that are carried live by clear hooks and call-and-response moments. Expect a compact German rock (Deutschrock) evening that emphasizes dynamics over stage effects and plays to the band’s strengths where they count most: in the interaction with the audience.
