BAP are coming with Die Zielgerade to the Uber Arena in Berlin on December 8, 2026. Since 1976, the Cologne-based band led by singer and songwriter Wolfgang Niedecken has stood for rock in Kölsch: lyrics about city life, family relationships, as well as social and political themes, delivered in a distinctive, near-spoken vocal style. Musically, the group spans the range from electrically driven riffs to quieter ballads, with hints of folk and blues.
Over decades, BAP has built a repertoire that extends from early records like Für usszeschnigge! (1981) and Vun drinne noh drusse (1982) to Amerika (1996), Aff un zo (2004), Radio Pandora (2008) and Lebenslänglich (2016). On stage, the band condenses these chapters into a set characterized by guitar dialogues, melodic rock aesthetics and Kölsch choruses. Die Zielgerade summarizes this journey as the current chapter of their tour.
