Mighty Oaks - Tour 2026

On 25 November 2026, Mighty Oaks will perform at Carlswerk Victoria in Cologne. The Berlin-based trio—featuring US singer and guitarist Ian Hooper, Italian Claudio Donzelli and Briton Craig Saunders—stand for indie folk with three-part harmonies, an acoustic foundation and clear hooks. Their lyrics often draw on personal experiences, carried by guitar, warm melodies and a sound that swings between folk, pop and subtle shades of rock.

On this tour, Mighty Oaks mix early pieces and songs from their debut Howl (2014) with the more fully developed arrangements of Dreamers (2017) as well as the electric and atmospheric textures of All Things Go (2020) and Mexico (2021). Live, intimate, stripped-back passages alternate with more energetic sections; the multi-part vocals remain the common thread. Between acoustic elements and restrained electric guitars, the songs unfold their dynamics—close to North American folk traditions, with a distinctly European stamp.
