Son Mieux - 24 Hours - EU Album Tour

Son Mieux from The Hague formed around singer-songwriter Camiel Meiresonne. What began as an indie-pop project grew into a collective rooted in the local scene. Their songs are built on an orchestral, alternative pop aesthetic: guitars, strings, keyboards and a driving rhythm section meet multi-voice choirs. Tension arcs often arise through gradual build-ups that culminate in catchy choruses, carried by Meiresonne’s voice. From early, indie-influenced EPs the sound evolved into a more open, danceable variant, drawn from disco, folk and contemporary pop. With the albums Faire de Son Mieux (2019) and The Mustard Seed (2021) the band honed a melody-centred songwriting style in which collective spirit and live energy are central. On stage Son Mieux performs as an ensemble with multiple vocalists, favouring dense arrangements and close engagement with the audience. As part of the 24 Hours – EU Album Tour they will bring this approach to the Kent Club in Hamburg on 10 November 2026, playing new pieces alongside well-known songs.
