Glenn Miller Orchestra - Tour "Swing Forever"

The Glenn Miller Orchestra brings its Swing Forever tour to Bremen: on 10 March 2026 the big band will take the stage at Die Glocke. Founded in the late 1930s around trombonist and bandleader Glenn Miller, the ensemble continues the tradition of the great dance and swing orchestras. Its hallmark is tightly arranged charts, a saxophone section featuring a leading clarinet, precise brass and vocal refrains that remain close to the popular song form.

In its current lineup the orchestra presents itself as a full Big Band with rhythm section, trumpets, trombones and woodwinds. At its core are standards of the swing era and pieces associated with Glenn Miller’s sound, supplemented by more recent songs adapted to this idiom. The tour concentrates the energy of the ballroom aesthetic into a compact band sound for which this repertoire was written.
