Arnaud Tsamere « Tous contraints »

Arnaud Tsamere returns with “Tous contraints,” his fifth solo stand-up show. True to his improv roots and his taste for logical detours, he unfolds a stand-up with keen edges, where everyday life becomes the playground for lines of reasoning that methodically spiral out of control. After “2 mariages et 1 enterrement” and its wide tour across France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, after a production of Cyrano directed by Alain Sachs and a stint as a trio with Jérémy Ferrari and Baptiste Lecaplain, he stages a more direct comeback, nourished by years on stage and in writing.

On stage, he returns to his habit of unsettling the obvious, playing with language and letting the absurd arise without overstatement. Characters slide, situations are turned on their head, improvisation blends with a tightly crafted text, and the comedian allows himself asides that put everything back in perspective at the last moment. The show is conceived as a kind of clarification, in which he speaks of his contradictions as a man and an artist without affectation. It takes place on 1 December 2027 at the Théâtre Femina, 10 rue de Grassi, Bordeaux.
