Info
Hasan Raheem draws a clear line between alternative R&B, urban pop and hip‑hop influences. Originally from Gilgit, he moved to Karachi to study medicine and began composing on the margins of his classes, publishing his tracks online and developing a direct, bilingual Urdu/English songwriting style set against slow tempos and spare production. Propelled by online word‑of‑mouth, his early singles quickly found their place in the new South Asian independent scene, far removed from televised pop. In 2022, his appearance on Coke Studio Pakistan with “Peechay Hutt,” alongside Justin Bibis and producer Talal Qureshi, broadened his international audience and confirmed his interest in the intersections between electronic pop and rap rhythms. That same year he released Nautanki, an album that moves between minimalist ballads and more dance‑oriented tracks.
On 21 May 2026 at L’Alhambra in Paris, Hasan Raheem translates this aesthetic to the stage. Song‑based structures, repetitive vocal motifs and immediate melodies shape a set that alternates hushed slow jams and more club‑driven pulses. It is a restrained approach focused on voice and groove, where the intimacy of the writing becomes collective as the choruses unfold.
