Altin Gün

On April 11, 2026, Altın Gün takes the stage at the Temps Machine in Joué-lès-Tours. Formed in Amsterdam, the band—centered around bassist Jasper Verhulst—brings together musicians of Turkish and Dutch origin who reinterpret Anatolian folk and rock. Drawing on traditional songs and compositions from the 1960s and ’70s, they devise rearrangements propelled by psychedelic guitars, prominent keyboards and funk-groove rhythms, sometimes bordering on disco, while retaining vocals in Turkish and the saz or bağlama lines.
