Info
Friday, 4 September 2026 at Les Solidarités, Avenue d’Ecolys, 5020 Namur: an evening built around four acts, each bringing its own color to the stage.
OMD – Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark features the duo Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys up front. Since the late 1970s they have refined their synthpop between immediate melodies, classic pop structures and darker electronic layers, from their early records to more recent work such as Bauhaus Staircase. Live, OMD shifts effortlessly between atmospheric pieces and tighter pop songs, often with an expanded lineup.
Faithless, formed in London around Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss and Rollo, mixes house, trip-hop, trance and spoken word. The project today revolves around Sister Bliss and Rollo, surrounded by vocalists and poets. Long club buildups, pulsing basslines and lyrics with spiritual or social themes form the backbone, striking a balance between club formats and more introspective songs.
Skip the Use, from France, was formed in 2007 around singer Matt Bastard. Their trajectory runs from a first DIY album in 2009 to Can Be Late in 2012, honored at the Victoires de la Musique, and hundreds of concerts. On stage: a direct rock approach fed by punk and ska influences, guitar riffs and a driving rhythm section.
Girls in Hawaï represents the Belgian indie scene with melodic songs sung in English. Around Antoine Wielemans and Lionel Vancauwenberghe a sound emerged of bright guitars, discreet synths and smooth rhythms, slightly melancholic. From From Here to There to Everest and Nocturne, the band explores more atmospheric and electronic textures, while remaining strongly rooted in the alternative scene.
