Thirteen years after their first album, the Italian duo Voices From The Lake (Donato Dozzy and Neel) mark their return with II, their second album, released on their label Spazio Disponibile. This record opens a new chapter for one of the established projects in electronic music.
Born from a friendship and a distinctive musical vision, Voices From The Lake first appeared as a live performance in the Japanese Alps before being distilled into their self-titled album released in 2012. That release has since become a reference point in deep techno and ambient techno. Over the years, the duo has performed in numerous countries, released several EPs, worked on installations, and founded labels, all while continually refining the unique identity of the project. With II, Voices From The Lake today reaffirms the core of its aesthetic: a deep, aquatic, immersive approach to sound.
